You might also remember that Ashton was married to Demi Moore from 2005 to 2013.
In a new interview with Esquire, Ashton opened up about his marriage and divorce from Demi, as well as their attempts to welcome a child together early in their relationship.
Ashton said his divorce from Demi was “humiliating” and “embarrassing”. “Nothing makes you feel like a failure like divorce,” he said. “Divorce looks like a fucking failure. You failed marriage.”

“You own the shit you did wrong, and you move on,” he added.
Ashton also said he was “fucking pissed” when Demi’s 2019 memoir Upside down featured intimate details about their relationship – especially due to her increased attention to him, Mila and their family.
“I had finally gotten to a place where the press had really fired me, Mila, my life and my family,” he said. “And then the next day, [the paparazzi] are at my children’s school.
Along with his comments about their breakup, Ashton also opened up about when he and Demi suffered an advanced pregnancy loss in 2003.
“Losing a child that you think you have, and so close to thinking you’re going to have a child, is really, really painful,” he said. “Everyone handles this in different ways.”
“I love kids,” Ashton added. “I wouldn’t have married a woman who had three children if I didn’t like children. The idea of ​​having another child would have been incredible.
“For some reason I had to have this experience.”
