Ashton Kutcher publicly apologizes
Ashton Kutcher has publicly apologized to hitmaker Harry Styles for an extremely awkward encounter at a mutual friend’s karaoke party.
The actor, 44, admitted he had no idea who the former One Direction singer was when they first met, leading him to make some embarrassing remarks.
Ashton revealed in an interview with Esquire that he and his wife, actress Mila Kunis, had been attending their neighbor’s lavish party when the awkward encounter happened.
He explained that he was impressed after seeing a reveler perform ABBA and felt compelled to go compliment the performance.
The interpreter turned out to be 29-year-old Harry, Ashton none the wiser.

Ashton recalled, “I said ‘Man, I gotta tell you something. You are like a karaoke ringer. You are really good, really good.
To which the singer humbly responded by saying he “appreciated” the compliment.
Much to Ashton’s horror, his friend then informed him that he was a famous singer, with his wife Mila having to explain that Harry was actually a big name in the music world and part of One direction.
Ashton recalled: “I was like ‘Oh my God, now I feel like a dick’. He’s a professional singer and we’re trying to tell him he’s a good singer!
He later issued a public apology via the magazine, saying, “I really want to say I’m sorry, Harry Styles.” But you’re really good at karaoke, man. Seriously, really good.
It comes after Harry was officially added to the growing list of performers at the 2023 Grammy Awards, which will be held on February 5.
The As It Was hitmaker is nominated for six incredible awards for his record album Harry’s House, released in May 2022.
Harry’s House is the former One Direction member’s third solo studio album since the boy band went on “permanent hiatus” in August 2015.

The Don’t Worry Darling actor had the second album opening week of 2022, behind Taylor Swift’s Midnights.
He also had four songs from the album on the US Billboard Hot 100, making him the first UK solo artist to achieve this, and of all UK bands he joined The Beatles, who achieved the feat. in 1964.
As It Was sat at number one on the Billboard charts for 15 consecutive weeks, becoming the longest serving US number one by a UK act and the fourth longest serving number one in chart history.

Harry has previously performed at the 2021 Grammys, where he donned a jaw-dropping, shirtless all-leather outfit.
At the 2021 Grammy Awards, crooner Watermelon Sugar was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album – Fine Line, Best Music Video – Adore You and Best Pop Solo Performance – Watermelon Sugar, for which he won the award.
For the 2023 Grammys, it’s nominated for the three most coveted awards for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.
It is also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video.
