With the announcement of the five-star tight end Port of Nyckoles now less than 24 hours away, the South Carolina football program, along with a few others, are eagerly awaiting the decision. Harbor is publicly reduced to five schools, including the Gamecocks, as well as Maryland, Miami, Michigan, and Oregon.
Third-year head coach Shane Beamer and his coaching staff have made Harbor a priority for a long time, and the Tuesday Buzz says the Gamecocks are really into the thick of it. It may come down to the only SEC school on its roster with the farthest school in the West, not to be confused with the Western champions.
If, and it’s a big if, the Gamecocks end up landing Harbor, he’ll be one of the top 10 rookies to sign in program history. defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, of course, is number one. He is still the highest-ranked player in 247Sports history. But Harbor enters the top 10.
Here we take a look at what the new top 10 would look like if Harbor finally signed with the Gamecocks. Again, let’s underline the word if. It’s also worth noting that the Offensive Lineman of 2024 Kam Pringle if he continues his commitment to South Carolina, is currently ranked No. 15 in all-time rookie rankings.
