NEW YORK – Football fans are having mixed reactions to Tom Brady’s retirement, with some applauding the legendary quarterback’s decision, while others are in disbelief.
“I think it was about time,” said a Bears fan.

TOM BRADY ANNOUNCES HE’S “RETIRING FOR GOOD”
“He’s a dinosaur now, give it up,” a Giants fan told Fox News. “He should retire, that’s the GOAT, give someone else a chance.”
Brady announced his retirement on social media on Wednesday morning. The seven-time Super Bowl champion holds numerous NFL passing records and led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the playoffs in the 2022 season, falling to the Cowboys in the wildcard round.

“I can’t believe he’s retiring,” one woman said. “I mean, he played for so long. Good luck to him !
Brady’s decision to retire comes a year to the day after he initially said goodbye to the Bucs, only to announce his return less than two months later.
“I don’t really know if he’s retiring,” said Rory, from Connecticut. “Hopefully he’s the… New York Jets quarterback next year.”

Brady has won the Lombardi Trophy seven times and has more Super Bowl wins than any quarterback to have ever played football.

After hanging up his cleats, the former New England Patriots quarterback is expected to join the broadcast stand. He agreed to a long-term deal with Fox Sports, apparently signing a 10-year, $375 million deal.
“I would be interested to hear what he has to say about other players, of course,” said one football fan.
