memoirs ‘boring
Pamela Anderson understands if her ex-husband Tommy Lee’s current wife, Brittany Furlan, isn’t too fond of her recently released memoir.
“I’m sure it’s going to be boring for his wife. I would be bored,” the former Playboy Playmate, 55, admitted to the WSJ. Magazine on “Love, Pamela,” which hit bookstores Tuesday alongside the outlet’s interview.
Anderson writes in her book that she knew very little about the Mötley Crüe drummer – including his last name and where he lived – when they fled to Mexico in 1995.
Although they had only known each other for a few days when they said “I do”, the “Baywatch” star remembers being “really happy” and “lost in a sea of love”.
But according to Anderson, the honeymoon phase quickly faded. She goes on to describe a tumultuous marriage marred by anger, jealousy, physical abuse, arrest, jail time, drug abuse, attempted suicide, family feuds, lawsuits and a stolen sex tape.
Amid the chaos, the couple welcomed two sons – Brandon in 1996 and Dylan in 1997 – before divorcing in 1998.
The actress-model explains that her separation from the musician was “the hardest, the lowest, the most difficult point of [her] life”, but it “had to protect [her] babies.”
Although she had several other marriages, including one to Kid Rock, Anderson says her relationship with Lee “may have been the only time [she] was really in love.
As for the 60-year-old rocker, he married Furlan – a social media personality 24 years his junior – on Valentine’s Day 2019.
The former Vine star, 36, has not publicly commented on Anderson’s memoir or responded to Page Six’s survey.
The former “Home Improvement” said in her WSJ. Magazine profile that Lee has not read his book.
